Attendance drops consistently in the two weeks following major holidays.
Data from last year:
• -3.2% overall attendance
• Disproportionate impact in Years 9 and 10
• Higher absence rate among disadvantaged cohort
Trial this term:
• Pre-holiday attendance letters
• Tutor follow-up calls for borderline attenders
• Whole-school messaging campaign
