As part of our inclusion review, I’d like to gather practical examples of adaptive teaching that are having measurable impact in classrooms.

We’ve recently analysed internal data and noted:

• SEND pupils showing stronger engagement where scaffolded modelling is explicit
• Vocabulary pre-teaching significantly improving confidence in written responses
• Reduced cognitive overload when visual instructions accompany verbal explanation

What we need to refine:

• Consistent use of chunked instructions
• Shared bank of scaffolding examples
• Removal of over-complex task sheets

I am particularly keen to identify approaches that improve independence rather than reliance on adult support.

Please share examples that balance high expectation with realistic adaptation.
