Colleagues,
Recent audits indicate inconsistency in recording low-level safeguarding concerns across departments.
Concerns include:
• Late recording of minor disclosures
• Use of informal notes rather than system entries
• Variation in threshold interpretation
Proposal:
- Short refresher briefing for all staff
- Flowchart embedded in staff handbook
- Standardised language guidance
This is not about increasing reporting volume — it is about safeguarding accuracy and transparency.
Would value leadership perspective before rolling out training.
