How are colleagues supporting ECT development beyond statutory requirements?
We have introduced:
• Paired lesson study
• Half-termly coaching cycles
• Reduced duty allocation
Retention outcomes appear positive so far.
Open to enhancement suggestions.

We’ve aligned ECT CPD with whole-school pedagogy focus rather than creating separate strands.
This has reduced cognitive overload.
